Wasn't expecting a sail today but wind picked up in the pm and the sun came out to I raced to the beach to find about 10 people out on 5.7's. Rigged my new Naish and had a fantastic time. Stayed out with a lone kiter well after the others had packed up - just couldn't pull myself away from the water. It was constant wind in a good direction and at HT, the waves began to form a little for some jumping. And after my spanking at the Wish Tower last weekend, I was happy to have dropped only one gybe in 2.5 hours of sailing. Great afternoon - lets hope the year delivers more of the same.
